Welcome to Molly's Den

This site is dedicated to Molly, our golden retriever. Watch her grow from a rambunctious, curious little puppy to a beautiful, well-behaved adult dog. Well, we can only hope for well behaved.

ADOPTION DAY
Molly officially became ours December 21, 2006. She said goodbye to her birth parents, siblings and the loving family that raised her. (see Molly's first week home)

PUPPY CLASSES:

• Feb.-March 2007: A 5-week session through our local community education program.

• March-May 2007: An 8-week session at Pet Smart. Graduation day was May 13, 2007. (see Molly's Training).

OBEDIENCE TRAINING:

• Basic Obedience: July-August 2007, an 8-week session at Purrfect Paws.

• Level 2 Obedience: September-October 2007, an 8-week session at Purrfect Paws. She earned  the "Life of the Party" award. Bless her heart, she provided distractions for the other dogs who were actually completing their long stays while Molly was goofing around.

AGILITY CLASSES:

Oct.-Nov. '07: Molly is having her first classes in Agility training at NY Canine Academy. She loves the equipment and has the attention span of a flea.

Dec. '07-Jan. '08: We continue agility with 8 more classes in the same facility. We've learned the basic equipment, now we're stringing things together.

Feb.-March '08: We will be refining our skills in our 3rd round of agility classes at NY Canine Academy.

MOLLY'S FIRST BOARDING EXPERIENCE
Molly spent her first weekend away from home and away from her family. Thanks to Susan Ferry and the staff at
A Pawsitive Experience for such a great stay.
